How To Create The Two Basic Website Designs

In order to have a website, there are two basic ways to do so; either by using template websites or by having a site custom created. With the template website you choose from pre-designed banners, layouts and images, which are limited to the designs offered by the online site builder. A custom website is unique and original. It is designed completely from scratch and has unlimited design potential.

Of course there are pros and cons for both of these designs. For example, template websites can be completed quickly and easily, and fairly inexpensively using an easy site builder. However, for a business website, this may not be the best option, as the software will offer a design that is not unique to your company and will have limited images, fonts and color selections. Additionally, there may be a limit to how much content can be included and you must complete any changes yourself. Rarely is there any type of maintenance offered.
